Quest Caveat #2 - The breakdown of the world as we know it
There are so many things that could go wrong. Personally I feel like the whole planet is tettering on the edge of some terrible fate (hence this quest). We have poverty, disease from overpopulation, exploitation and resource depletion. We have the great disparity between the wealthy and the poor. We have terrifying weapons in the hands of rogue organizations and aggressive nations. We have overconsumption, greed and apathy. And while many of these things have been around for years without triggering global upheaval, it may be only a matter of time.
But, in my estimation, the greatest threat to our world is the degradtion of the environment. From the potentially dire effects of a warming planet, combined with a pollution & depletion of air, land & water, we are headed for some bad times. The effects of an ailing environment will exacerbate all of the above problems and bring us further towards ??? chaos? war? famine?
Needless to say, if this begins to happen in any sort of substanial way. and begins to affect the economy of the use of computers, well then all bets are off.
