Billion Dollar Internet Companies
As crazy as it sounds that I could make 1 billion dollars in 10-15 years, it is certainly possible. In the past 10 years, the internet has already produced a number of billion dollar companies. First, we had Google, Yahoo & eBay. Each of those were (famously) started from nothing by a team of two people. Now they are among the largest companies in the world.
More recently we have MySpace, Facebook & YouTube. While each of these sites started just in 2004 - less than three years ago - they are already "valued" at or above $1 billion. And once again, each of these was started my just one or two people.
Granted, this is 6 examples out of tens of thousands or hundred of thousands of businesses. Most of the other websites started in the past 10 years have failed, or they make profits in the thousands rather than the millions. All I am saying is it can be done. |
