brain games

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/060409/3/3zya1.html

This is just an article about some brain exercises that are catching on in Japan. This is one area where I see a lot of potential for my games as they definitely get the mind working in all sorts of ways, and one day people will realize that exercising the brain is just as important as exercising the body.

snubbed by the academy

last year, after 6 months in operation I get honored as Webby Worthy. this year, 3 website upgrades and 35 games later, I get nothing no nomination, no recognition at all… how is that possible? clearly they dont know what they are talking about. not a big fan of the Webby Awards right now (although I am still determined to win so I will still have to try again next year)

punks. when I look at some of the sites chosen as webby worthy it makes me want to puke that I was not among them. OK, now I am over it. On I must go.

Webby Awards

Those of you have been following my blog for some time will remember that I am very anxious to be nominated for a Webby Award. I applied last year after only 4 months of operation yet was still selected as “Webby Worthy”. This year I submitted again with another year under my belt, and I have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the nominees. Well that day is now almost upon us (April 11) so I am getting a little nervous. I know it is unlikely that i will be nominated (with all the big corporations and big sites out there competing against me), but I do feel like I am worthy based on the quality of last years nominees. So I am catiously optimistic … hopeful that it could happen but trying to keep my expectations low (on this one) to avoid a letdown.

One thing I know for sure is that I wont be sleeping very well this Sunday night.
